Do You Have Water Damage?

There are three categories of water damage, and each of them requires different techniques to properly restore and prevent additional damage or health issues.

Category 1 - Clean Water: This is damage from water coming from frozen or broken pipes, failed water heaters, ice maker hoses, leaking roofs, etc.

Category 2 - Grey Water: This damage results from water that has been used, typically for cleaning. It comes from appliances like washing machines, dishwashers, tub overflows and spas and can contain contamination from common soils, such as food, laundry, body oils, etc.

Category 3 - Black Water/Sewage: This is the most serious type of water damage. It contains human and/or animal waste. It typically comes from toilets, sewers and septic system backups. Black water is teeming with disease-causing viruses and bacteria, and can cause very serious illness if not mitigated properly.
